Artist Statement
My art is rooted in nature and emotion. I work in bold, expressive color to paint scenes of sunflowers, trees, and oceans—natural symbols that carry meaning: light, stability, and renewal. I’m drawn to these subjects not just for their beauty, but for their emotional power. They reflect the core of what I hope to offer through my work—encouragement, grounding, and a sense of quiet strength.
Growing up on a small farm, I spent much of my childhood surrounded by the natural world, creating things with my hands—from nurturing animals and flowers to drawing and even stitching small cross-stitch pieces that were displayed in a city shop window. Those early creative acts taught me how much comfort and confidence handmade work can bring.
Over time, I explored the world through solo travel and continued my artistic journey through exhibitions, mural work, children’s book illustrations, and formal studies—including a Master’s in Art History. My art is shaped by both personal reflection and academic insight, and I continue to create with the intention of connecting—offering my work as a space of beauty, hope, and healing
